Our story begins with First Light Company, an electrical contracting firm that built its reputation across the Middle East by delivering complex, large-scale electrical solutions for commercial and institutional clients. From hospitals and hotels to public infrastructure, First Light was known for its technical expertise, rigorous standards, and ability to deliver under pressure. Working in a region rich with architectural heritage and demanding climates, we learned the importance of reliability, precision, and coordination across every phase of a project.

In 2012, drawing on that foundation, we established Beacon (Bassan Electrical and Construction Inc.) in Toronto. Our aim was to bring the same level of discipline and quality to Canada’s built environment—combining our electrical background with a broader vision for design and construction. What began as an extension of our electrical services soon evolved into a full-spectrum construction company, proudly serving the Greater Toronto Area and beyond.

 

Today, Beacon offers integrated solutions for both residential and commercial clients, providing everything from wiring and service panel upgrades to full-scale renovations and new builds.
